7 Must-Have Travel Accessories

I am all about making my travels as easy and organized as possible, here are my favorite travel accessories that help me do that . . .

Packing Cubes

If you don’t have packing cubes yet believe me they will change your life! I like to separate my clothes into categories and use the cubes for things like underwear, socks, swim, pajamas, etc. I don’t usually put everything in a cube but it helps with the smaller items. These can also be great for supplements, snacks, or unique items you might bring on a trip like art supplies. Amazon has a great selection of packing cubes.

Air Tag and Holder

I have experienced the panic when your luggage is lost and you have to wait to get it back. I have also heard some horror stories where people don’t get their luggage back at all. Recently, my husband bought me an air tag and a holder so that I can put it in my suitcase. Although this won’t magically bring my suitcase back if it is lost it does ease my mind a little knowing that I might know where it is.

Hanging Cosmetic Bag

I have been using the same bag for forever and I couldn’t live without it! I usually stock mine with everything I need from shampoo to stain remover. I keep it stocked at all times so that when I am getting ready for a trip I just need to grab it and I’m ready to go. If I run out of something I immediately replace it when I get back so I don’t have to worry about it later.

Travel Charger

A friend had recommended this charger to me, I love that I can charge my phone and Apple watch at the same time with a single charger eliminating all the cords I need to bring. This one is so compact and works great!

Travel Earphones

These earphones help solve two problems I often have . . . one is that I like to sleep on planes and if I have my earbuds in I usually wake up with an earache. The other is that I like to sleep to sounds and white noise, when I am sharing a room I like to be considerate of my roommate and I don’t like to play my sounds. These earphones are so comfortable and I can listen to my sounds without bothering those around me.

Travel Pillow

This one is pretty obvious as many people carry pillows onto planes now but I felt the need to include it. There are so many options for pillows, I’ve been using the typical neck pillow but I have my eye on this! Another great one, although it is rather obnoxious is the Ostrich pillow. My husband often uses this and collects stares from nearby passengers. Although a little ridiculous it is pretty comfortable and I often steal it to use as a regular pillow. I also have this one that I usually use for road trips.

Hydration Supplements

There are many options for these but I find them to be so helpful when traveling. I already struggle to stay hydrated and the air on the plane can be so drying! I usually use one on the plane and then continue for at least a day or two after traveling. I find this helps with many things such as dry skin, allergies, etc. These are the ones I like best as they are not as sweet as some of the other ones.
