Romantic Travel Ideas

If you want to plan a romantic trip with your partner, why not make sure you fill their love language cup? I put together a few ideas for each love language so you can get the most out of your romantic vacation.

Words of Affirmation Tips

  • Write a love letter and bring it on your trip for them to open, or both write letters and share them on your trip

  • Create a music playlist of songs that makes you think of them to play on your trip

  • At the end of the day, take time to talk with your partner about their favorite experience of the day

Quality Time

  • Plan a romantic dinner for just the two of you

  • Schedule a shared experience such as an escape room, snorkeling, ziplining, etc.

  • Make sure to leave your phone away and on silent

Acts of Service

  • Schedule couples massages

  • Take your partner somewhere on their bucket list or a place you think they would enjoy

  • Plan a surprise date

Receiving Gifts

  • Give your partner a gift that they can use on the trip

  • Purchase something on the trip to act as a memento for the trip

  • Purchase something they had their eye on while traveling

Physical Touch

  • Plan a romantic night in by ordering room service

  • Go for a walk around town and hold hands

  • Go dancing

  • Find a romantic location and make out

Planning a romantic trip and then finding out it didn’t meet your partner’s expectations is always a bummer. Avoid that mistake by making sure you are meeting their love language. I hope these ideas were helpful to get you started.
